After seeing Rauschenberg's "Bed" in person, I liked it better. Seeing it coming off the wall gives it a larger impact, and almost an eeriness. Using the bed as a surface gives the painting a back story.

Susan Rothenberg
I enjoy the way Rothenberg works. She is very intuitive, many of her works are based off memories, and daily life. She lets her work come naturally adding things as they tell her they need to be added.
